February Reading Wrap-Up

Happy March 1st everyone! I can’t believe we are already into the third month of the new year! I thought I’d celebrate the first post of the month with a wrap-up of everything I read for the month of February. I read a total of four books. Three of the four were rom-com to ease me back into reading after a two-month reading slump, which I talk about in detail here in case you’re curious. I rounded out the month with a moody Gilded Age Gabrielle Meyer book. I am very much a mood reader, so expect to see genre whiplash from me! 😝

1. Forget Me Knot ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this book! I LOL’d several times. It was the perfect first read after my reading slump. So much swoon from the MMC and the way the FMC described him throughout the book was hilarious! This book lives rent-free in my head even one month after reading it!

2. Head Over Wheels ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I laughed harder at this book than I did the first book in this series! I enjoyed watching the FMC soften for the MMC, meanwhile the MMC has always loved her as more than a friend! I love a good marriage of convenience trope!

3. My Phony Valentine ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This one is a reread for me. I needed a Valentine’s Day book because ‘tis the season! This book was just as funny the second time as it was the first. I loved going back and seeing my old highlights and notes!

4. To Love A Lady ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks to the reading slump, I didn’t get to read this book when it initially came out. Here is my full review for To Love A Lady if you’re curious! TL;DR: I would have loved to have seen more of the relationship develop between the FMC and MMC, but overall I loved the book! I was up way past my bedtime on a work night reading!

Not a bad month in books for just coming out of a reading slump! My favorite book for February was Forget Me Knot. I can’t wait to see what my March reading wrap-up looks like. Stay tuned on the blog for a cozy bookish project that I will discuss next week! Your turn, what was your favorite book that you read in February?
